See how the Peugeot 2008, Peugeot 3008, and Peugeot 5008 are made in Gurun, Malaysia, in the brand-new video "Peugeot Made in ASEAN." Peugeot's global and regional success depends on the company's ability to establish a manufacturing presence in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Among other things, the video showcases how Peugeot SUVs are put through their paces on various terrains and in a wide range of weather conditions to guarantee their absolute dependability for customers.
According to Linda Jackson, Peugeot's global CEO, "We are proud to manufacture Peugeot vehicles with high-quality standards in ASEAN for our customers across Southeast Asia." The Peugeot name has always stood for top-quality products. Our customers are at the center of everything we do, and implementing our internationalization strategy is my top priority as brand manager.

The Stellantis plant in Gurun, Malaysia, is featured in the 4:42-minute video "Peugeot Made in ASEAN," which details the production, quality, and endurance testing processes that take place there. Throughout a whopping half a million kilometers of testing in Malaysia, the Peugeot 2008, Peugeot 3008, and Peugeot 5008 SUVs were subjected to everything from sweltering heat to heavy rain.

The Gurun plant handles Peugeot sales in Southeast Asia. The brand has found great success in the region by positioning itself as a high-end all-rounder. The Peugeot 2008, Peugeot 3008, and Peugeot 5008 are all manufactured in this country; their appearance is identical to that of their European counterparts. Stellantis bought the whole of NAZA Automotive Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. and its factory in Gurun, Kedah, on October 28, 2021.

Stellantis has authorized distributors in 18 countries and markets across India and Asia-Pacific. This includes nine of the ten ASEAN member states: Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Brunei. Taiwan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, East Timor, Nepal, Bangladesh, Mongolia, New Caledonia, and French Polynesia make up the rest of the markets.
