Ford Motor Company has introduced the new Ford Fiesta, which features a sleek new design, extensive standard equipment, and enhanced technology packages. In addition, thanks to its advanced light hybrid engine and connection capabilities, the vehicle is even more equipped for an electric and digital future.
The new Ford Fiesta is more stunning than ever before, and each model's style - Trend, Titanium, ST-Line, and Active - is now more evident. Furthermore, other exterior colors, rim choices, and interior features are available for the vehicle. The new Fiesta lineup also includes the Titanium, ST-Line, Active versions, and the luxury Vignale equipment package.
LED headlights are standard on all Fiesta models, while sophisticated Matrix LED technology, which allows for glare-free high beams, is offered. Matrix LED technology may also adjust the shaft for improved visibility under challenging situations.
The 12.3-inch digital instrument panel is standard on the new Fiesta. In addition, for the first time, Fiesta includes a Local Hazard Information System and a Wrong-Way Alert system to notify you if you are traveling in the wrong direction.
The Ford EcoBoost Hybrid 48-volt mild-hybrid technology increases fuel efficiency while improving the well-known driving characteristics of the Fiesta by responding faster. Combined with Ford's seven-speed Powershift automatic gearbox, the technology ensures quick and smooth gear changes and an enjoyable and safe driving experience.
Ford also introduced the Fiesta ST, created by Ford Performance, featuring new Matrix LED headlights and Ford-made Performance seats as standard. The model's aggressive design features include a new Chrystaline Gray-finished front grille and a stunning Mean Green exterior color option, as well as a 10% overboost torque spike capable of producing up to 320 Nm of torque.
The new Ford Fiesta is built on Ford's B-Class design, serving as the foundation for the Ford Puma. The line offers functional and completed three- and five-door versions and accessory options to suit each consumer.
The entire Fiesta collection's new look has a higher bow and more prominent front grilles. In addition, the new standard LED headlights to help to emphasize the new Fiesta's bold and contemporary design language. The new black borders of the taillights give the car a completed look, while the basic LED taillights up to the X trim level feature a Premium Black finish.
Each new Fiesta model has its personality, accentuated by the vehicle's unique dashboard and front grille features and the body and interior design characteristics.
The Trend and Titanium versions include a larger front grille with solid horizontal ribs, high-gloss chrome frames, and side air vents. The Titanium front grille's horizontal ribs are completed with hot-stamped chrome that matches the chrome window frames.
The Ford Performance-inspired ST-Line features a redesigned front grille with deeper recesses and a glossy black honeycomb finish. In addition, the broadside air intakes are body-colored, and the front grille is more prominent.
The Active model's design elements, influenced by SUV vehicles, emphasize the model's adventurous spirit. The broad front grille's bold, glossy black vertical ribs and the taller and more spectacular air intakes on the sides represent the Active model's higher crossover design.
The Vignale equipment package is available for Titanium, ST-Line, and Active models, raising the bar of style and elegance. Depending on the model, the equipment package includes distinctive 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels, high-quality Sensico seat fabric, and matte carbon-fiber interior accents.
The belt-driven integrated charger (BISG) replaces the conventional charger in the EcoBoost Hybrid light hybrid vehicles, allowing energy to be collected when the vehicle is braking or decelerating and charging an air-cooled 48-volt lithium-ion battery. This system lowers the car's fuel usage and will enable it to react faster.
The BISG also functions as an engine, utilizing stored electrical energy to assist the internal combustion engine run. It also takes advantage of the vehicle's electrical auxiliaries. For example, the technology can restart the engine in 350 milliseconds, allowing the Auto Start-Halt system to shut off the engine in instances when the vehicle comes to a stop at less than 25 kilometers per hour, even with the gear engaged and the clutch engaged.
The new Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost Hybrid lite hybrid comes with a six-speed manual transmission and has two power outputs: 125 hp and 155 hp. According to the model's WLTP measuring technique, fuel consumption starts at 4.9 l/100 km, and CO2 emissions start at 111 g/km, which is 5% better than the 1.0 EcoBoost 125 hp petrol engine. According to Ford statistics, the light hybrid can save up to 10% on urban driving. In addition, the 125 horsepower EcoBoost Hybrid is now available with a seven-speed automatic gearbox, with fuel consumption starting at 5.2 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions starting at 117 grams per kilometer (WLTP).
The Powershift automatic transmission assists in keeping the engine running at the optimal speed. Similarly, the transmission supports rolling Auto Start-Stop at speeds less than 12 kilometers per hour, which increases fuel efficiency when driving in town. For quick overtaking that necessitates maximal acceleration, the automatic transmission may shift up to three speeds at once.
The Fiesta features three driving modes to choose from: Normal, Sport, and Eco-Drive. Different driving modes influence throttle response, ESC traction control, traction control, and shift time in automatic versions. The Fiesta Active also features Trail and Slippery driving modes.
The new Ford Fiesta has technology designed to improve comfort and safety when driving in both urban and off-road situations.
Standard LED low and high beams, as well as daytime running lights, produce excellent light intensity. Ford also introduced the new Fiesta ST variant, which Ford Performance created. The model sports a more aggressive bow, honeycomb front grilles, and huge air intakes on the bumper sides. The front grille and air intakes of the Fiesta ST have a distinct Chrystaline Gray finish. The body-colored lower spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler, and diffusers are aerodynamically tuned. The standard 18-inch alloy wheels are finished in a dark Magnetite. The eye-catching ST Mean Green is now available as a new exterior color for the Fiesta ST.
The new Performance chairs were designed to give more support and comfort in all conditions. With an integrated headrest and a 14-way adjustable seat, every driver may discover the optimum driving position for them. The high-quality Sensico fabric and red stitching on the seats give the cab a high-quality appearance. The flat steering wheel at the bottom and the innovative coating with a matte carbon fiber impression and the red accents underline the model's athletic nature.
The new Ford Fiesta ST has a 1.5-liter EcoBoost petrol engine with 200 horsepower (6000 rpm), a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.5 seconds, and a maximum speed of 230 km/h. In addition, the Fiesta ST features a stiff body owing to unique cold-formed springs and Tenneco's double-tube shock absorbers at the front, making it comfortable to handle and fast to respond to turns. Furthermore, the optional Quaife mechanical differential lock improves grip and cornering characteristics.
