Ford introduces a new, limited-edition Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition model for 2022. The first generation Shelby GT500 was introduced in 1967 by racing driver and entrepreneur Carroll Shelby by improving the Ford Mustang GT350 model.
The Heritage Edition Fastbacks are painted in the classic and exclusive exterior color Brittany Blue with two different options for the exterior stripes in Wimbledon White - lacquered over-the-top racing stripes with the GT500 logo and vinyl over-the-top racing stripes with Vinyl side stripes bearing the GT500 logo.
The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, control strategies suitable for racing, and advanced driving modes ensure a vehicle that behaves like no other sports coupé on the market. Orders for the Heritage Edition will be accepted from Monday, and sales will begin in spring 2022.
